Juliette Mayers is a business executive with over 30 years of marketing, financial services and strategy and leadership-development experience. Her corporate career included leadership roles with GE Capital, BankBoston, The AdClub of Greater Boston and BlueCross Blue Shield of MA. She has a track record of delivering results, leading innovation and inspiring audiences.
As founder and CEO of Inspiration Zone LLC, she consults to Fortune 500 companies, and not-for-profits companies. Inspiration Zone works with clients on the creation and optimization of business strategies, strategic planning, stakeholder analysis, leadership development and strategic networking, with the aim of creating more diverse and inclusive workplaces.
Diversity and Inclusion has been a constant focus throughout Juliette’s corporate and entrepreneurial journey. She created and launched Multicultural Marketing at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA and led all aspects of marketing across all channels, communications, agency relationship, community partnerships and innovative programs. Her efforts were ground-breaking and contributed to double-digit membership growth, and the identification of new business opportunities. She also developed and launched a corporate-wide proprietary program that leveraged healthcare analytics, consumer data, culturally relevant consumer engagement strategies and multicultural communications to address the critical issues of health disparities in healthcare. Juliette’s work was awarded national best-practice recognition and multiple business awards.
Juliette currently serves on the Board of Corporators for Eastern Bank, the Mass-Hire State Workforce Board and on the Boston Women’s Workforce Council. She is emeritus Board President of Action for Boston’s Community Development (ABCD) and previously served on the Board of Directors of The Boston Club.
Juliette’s accomplishments have been recognized with various awards including “Women Worth Watching,” Boston Business Journal’s “Women of Influence,” Simmons University’s “Gwen Ifill Trailblazer Leadership Award” and “The Girl Scouts of Eastern MA Leading Women” recognition.
Juliette earned her MBA at Simmons University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northeastern University. She is a native of Barbados West Indies, mother of two daughters and is married to her husband of 28 years, Darryl Mayers.
